Making a film or video is always divided into three parts. It doesn't matter what type of film or the length be it a home movie or a blockbuster.
Planning - Answering the 5 question words; the who, the what, the where, the when, and the How
The filming - this is doing part, where lights meets camera for the action.
Post Production - editing the film and making the final copy ready for viewing
And these can be subdivided even more it essentially is aforementioned three stages

We are going to start with the filming and the first place to start has to be the location. 
The Home Studio 
The choices are limited This has to be a room in your home and the choices are only two. You have a spare room that can be used or you need a studio that can be created and packed away and the understanding of everyone else who lives there.    I use the kitchen and that’s not popular, but there is an easier location I can use that is quicker to set up but is more limiting

The more makeshift setup is just to adapt a room with little or no changes  ( apart from all the gear). Some things might be needed to be moved around, but as long as things are not in shot then it doesn't really matter.

I just need to cover up the wall and I am ready to go
